He is an economics graduate from Kasaragod Government College and a P.G. Diploma holder in journalism and communication from Kerala Press Academy (Kerala Media Academy). He has done one of the most popular shows in the history of Malayalam radio for Akashvani, named "Hello Joy Alukkas" for fifteen long years through which he became the beloved 'Balettan' for the listeners across Kerala. He entered the Asia Book of Records for his unique 24-hour nonstop Radio Show against Violence. He is chosen as the first male voice of the Cochin Metro. He has given lectures on Media, Advertising, Radio Journalism and other related subjects in renowned colleges and institutes across Kerala. Currently hosting radio show 'HridayapoorvamRajagiri' on Akashvani Kochi FM.
